Understanding Euverify's Free Trial vs. Paid Subscription

What is the Free Trial?

Euverify offers a 14-day free trial on all standard plans. You pay £0 until your trial ends, and you can cancel at any time — no charge will be applied if you cancel before the 14 days are up.

The free trial gives you hands-on access to the platform so you can explore its features, add your products, and see how your compliance documentation will look — before committing to a paid plan.

What Can I Do During the Free Trial?

During the free trial, you have access to the following:

  • Add your manufacturer address

  • Appoint an EU and/or UK Authorised Representative (setup in progress during trial)

  • Add products and complete the required compliance steps

  • Upload technical files

  • Access Risk Assessment Templates

  • Check your product against applicable GPSR, EU directives, and harmonised standards

  • Preview your EU/EC Declaration of Conformity and UKCA Declaration of Conformity

The key limitation of the free trial is that you cannot download your Declarations of Conformity — only preview them. To download and use your compliance documents, you need to be on a paid subscription.

Is the Free Trial Available for All Product Types?

The 14-day free trial is available for most product categories. However, the free trial is not available if your products fall under:

  • Pharmaceuticals

  • More than 500 products

  • 500+ low-margin digital products on Etsy

You can add cosmetics and medical device products during the free trial, but starting the verification process for these will require a per-product charge.

If your products fall into the remaining categories above, scroll to the "Custom Plans Tailored to Your Needs" section on the Pricing Page, fill in your details, and a sales representative will contact you.

What Are the Paid Plans?

Once your trial ends, you'll be charged based on your selected plan. Euverify currently offers four standard plans (prices exclude VAT):

The annual plan gives you 2 months free (pay for 10 months, get 12). Use the Monthly/Annually toggle on the pricing page to compare options.

Will I Be Reminded Before the Trial Ends?

Yes. Euverify will send you reminders and billing estimates 7 days before your trial ends so you're never caught off guard. After the trial period, your card will be charged the fee for your selected plan.

How Do I Upgrade to a Paid Subscription?

To unlock the ability to download your Declarations of Conformity and access all paid features:

  1. Go to the Billing page in your Euverify account.

  2. Select your desired plan.

  3. Click the "Begin Subscription Immediately" button to activate your paid plan straight away.

By upgrading, users gain full access to all compliance documents and essential features required for regulatory adherence in the EU and UK markets.

For more details on pricing and subscription plans, visit the Euverify Pricing Page.

Can I Upgrade or Downgrade My Plan During the Trial?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time during the trial period via the customer portal. However, switching plans during the trial is treated as a subscription update — your trial will end immediately and you will be charged the new plan's price at that point.

To switch plans, go to the Billing page in your account, select a new plan, and the updated features will be available immediately.

For paid plan upgrading/downgrading:

Upgrading — your plan updates immediately and you'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period, then the full new plan price on your next billing date.

Downgrading — your plan updates immediately and the unused portion of your current billing period is calculated and added as account credit, which is automatically applied to your next payment. No cash refunds are issued.

What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

Euverify accepts major debit cards, credit cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, and — in select countries — bank deposits. Payments can be made in multiple currencies. All payments are securely processed via Stripe; Euverify does not store your card details.

What Happens If I Cancel?

  • Cancelling during the free trial: You will not be charged. Your access will continue until the end of your trial period, after which it will end automatically.

  • Cancelling a monthly plan: Your plan won't renew on the next billing date, but the service remains active until the end of the current billing period.

  • Cancelling an annual plan: Annual plans are non-refundable. You can cancel to prevent renewal for the following year, and the service remains active until the annual period ends.
