Who this is for: Founders, DPOs, compliance managers, or anyone responsible for GDPR compliance.
Time to complete: ~15–30 minutes (plus time for e‑signature and payment).
What you’ll need: Company details (legal name, address, company number), website URL, a signatory to e‑sign the representative agreement, and a payment method.
1) Pick your plan
Choose Startup, Growth, Scale‑up, or Enterprise based on headcount and revenue. You can compare pricing and limits here: https://euverify.com/gdpr/pricing/.
VAT note: Prices are shown exclusive of VAT. VAT is added at checkout based on your billing country.
After selecting a plan, you’ll enter the GDPR Setup Wizard.
2) Complete the GDPR Setup Wizard
The wizard walks you through six simple steps. You can pause and return at any time—your progress is saved.
Step 1 — Company details
This information appears on your GDPR documents and is used for regulatory inquiries.
Fill in:
Company logo
Legal company name (as registered)
Company number
Registered business address (street, city, postcode, country)
Website URL
Approx. number of employees
Annual revenue
Industry / category
Primary contact person (name, designation, phone)
Then select your service scope:
EU Representative, UK Representative, or Both EU & UK Representatives
Tip: Use a generic compliance inbox (e.g., [email protected]) for the primary contact so multiple team members can receive notices.
Step 2 — Sign the GDPR Representative Agreement
We email the agreement to the address you used to sign up.
Open your inbox and look for a message from our e‑signature provider.
Review and e‑sign the agreement.
Back in the wizard, tick “I’ve reviewed and signed the agreement” and click Next.
After signing:
You can download the fully executed agreement.
We also email you a copy for your records.
Euverify is now officially appointed as your GDPR Representative (based on the scope you selected).
Troubleshooting: Don’t see the email? Check spam/promotions and ensure your mail system allows e‑signature emails. Still stuck? Contact us via the chat widget.
Step 3 — Make payment
Pay for the plan you selected. The checkout shows the plan price excluding VAT; VAT is added based on your billing location. Once payment succeeds, the wizard automatically moves to the next step.
Step 4 — Update your Privacy Policy (with secure request portal)
We provide the wording you need to insert into your site’s privacy policy, including:
Your appointed EU/UK Representative details (the correct address appears automatically based on your selection).
A link to a secure portal where your customers can submit GDPR requests (e.g., DSARs).
What to do:
Copy the policy block from the wizard.
Add it to your website’s privacy policy page.
Paste your policy URL into the wizard and click Verify.
The system checks the page and confirms the required text and portal link are live.
Heads‑up: Keep your privacy policy accessible from your site footer. That’s where users—and regulators—expect to find it.
Step 5 — Upload or build your ROPA
Create your Record of Processing Activities (ROPA) in one of two ways:
Upload your existing ROPA
Acceptable formats include PDF, DOC/DOCX, XLS/XLSX, CSV.Build with Euverify’s ROPA Builder
Answer a guided questionnaire about your processing purposes, data categories, recipients, transfers, retention, and safeguards. We generate a compliant ROPA you can download and maintain inside Euverify.
Good practice: Review your ROPA at least quarterly, or whenever you launch new features, change processors, or expand to new regions.
Step 6 — Onboarding complete ✅
You’ll see a final checklist showing everything you’ve finished. From here, you can access:
Your signed agreement
Your verified privacy policy link
Your uploaded/generated ROPA
Tools for handling incoming data rights requests via the secure portal
